Purpose-built offices, specialist laboratories, and engineering workshops, with long-term residency, for late-phase STEM start-ups, SMEs, and university spin-outs in deep tech, clean tech, biotech, and consumer product development. Access the facilities, expertise, networks, and commercialisation support needed to scale, all within one location. Residents retain their intellectual property and equity.
Express interestFor residents
PDIHQ provides more than offices, laboratories, and engineering workshops. It places residents alongside other founders, engineers, scientists, product companies, and commercialisation specialists. This concentration of capability is designed to help companies solve problems faster, access knowledge they do not hold internally, identify suitable partners and suppliers, and progress towards commercial scale.
Residents will work alongside companies and specialists from different technical disciplines. When a challenge sits outside a company's internal capability, PDIHQ can help identify relevant experience within the resident group or wider partner network.
Pro-Dev will be co-located within PDIHQ, providing practical capability across product strategy, industrial design, mechanical engineering, CAD, prototyping, design for manufacture, supplier sourcing, tooling, manufacturing coordination, packaging, quality, compliance planning, and production scale-up. Residents can access the support they need without employing every specialist capability internally.
PDIHQ will connect residents with manufacturers, technical specialists, universities, researchers, investors, funders, and professional advisers. These connections can reduce the time spent searching for suitable expertise and help companies avoid preventable commercialisation mistakes.
Resident forums, technical discussions, curated introductions, and shared project spaces will create opportunities for companies to exchange knowledge, refer suppliers, and work together where there is a clear mutual benefit.
PDIHQ will provide a structured setting for investor visits, industry demonstrations, partner meetings, and resident showcases. This gives companies greater opportunities to present their work to relevant funders, commercial partners, research organisations, and government agencies.
Collaboration will always be optional. Residents decide what they share and with whom. Each company retains its intellectual property and equity, with private offices, appropriate access controls, and confidentiality arrangements supporting sensitive work.
These are planned operating mechanisms, not guaranteed outcomes:
Collaboration is optional and residents control what they disclose. Private work remains private. Introductions occur only where both parties agree, and non-disclosure agreements and access controls may be used. Each resident retains its intellectual property and equity. PDIHQ does not guarantee investment or commercial partnerships, and not every specialist a company needs will always be located inside the facility.
